Mountainfilm on Tour

Telluride’s Mountainfilm on Tour returns to The American Mountaineering Center in Golden for a 6th straight year! America’s premier touring film festival returns featuring films displaying themes of adventure, mountaineering, remarkable personalities, and important environmental and social themes. A benefit for Alpine Rescue Team and sponsored this year by First Ascent/Eddie Bauer, the Colorado Mountain Club, REI and CEAVCO Audio Visual, both shows are sure to sell out, so get your tickets early!

The program consists of two nights of different films varying in length and focus, from educational works about cultures and the environment, to portraits of remarkable people, of adrenaline-packed adventure, and of pure exploration. Both nights of films promise to be inspiring and provocative while taunting and tantalizing your senses as they provide a unique view into contemporary mountain life with humor and drama.

Come out and support Alpine Rescue Team while experiencing glimpses of the world as never seen before. Mountainfilm tickets are $10.00 for each night, or both nights for $18.00, and can be purchased beginning Wednesday, September 17, online, at REI’s Denver Flagship and Boulder stores, or at the door (unless sold out).
